An invitational, more prestigious than The Masters
Origin Story
There are tournaments. And then there is the Jude Law Invitational.
What began as a modest attempt to correct a glaring oversight in the Canadian calendar — June, as any discerning gentleman will note, is the only month without a long weekend — has evolved into one of the most anticipated private golf events in the world. We do not apologize for the prestige. We have earned it.
The name itself is the stuff of legend. In the founding summer, a group of eight men of considerable character and questionable short games gathered with a singular mission: to invent the June long weekend. After a evening of appropriate celebration, the words June Long proved entirely unmanageable. What emerged instead was something far better. Jude Law was born — and with it, a tournament worthy of the name.
The Original Eight
We acknowledge, with the reverence they are due, the founders upon whose shoulders this institution stands:
Dallon Stoddart · Curtis Pereverzoff · Josiah Mori · Luke Mori · Dele · Matt McDonald · Clay Rickaby · Chase Rickaby
Without them, none of this would have been possible. Without them, June would remain an unremarkable month.
The Tournament
The Jude Law Invitational is a three-day, invite-only stroke play event contested across three TBD golf courses. It is not a corporate scramble. It is not a charity outing. It is a proper golf tournament — played on proper courses, against proper competition, with a proper leaderboard that does not lie.
Participation is by invitation only. The field is limited. Standards are maintained.
The fairways await. Honour beckons.
